How does the TEAM Program™ help improve mental toughness in young athletes?
The TEAM Program™ helps improve mental toughness by focusing on key psychological skills like resilience, emotional regulation, and self-confidence—critical components of mental performance. Drawing on proven techniques from sports psychology, the program teaches athletes how to stay focused under pressure, overcome setbacks, and develop a growth mindset. By using structured lessons and real-life applications, athletes build the mental strength needed to perform consistently and navigate challenges.
How long is the TEAM Program™ and what’s the schedule like?
The TEAM Program™ is comprised of 4 chapters, with each chapter containing 4 weekly lessons. Coaches and teams can complete a lesson every week for 16 weeks, or choose a schedule that better fits their tournament and practice schedule.
Can the program be customized for individual athletes or teams?
Yes! While the TEAM Program™ offers a core curriculum, I also offer a variety of add-on workshops tailored to meet the unique needs of your athletes or team. For example, if your team wants to set specific season goals, our Goal Setting Workshop is a great option. I’m always excited to collaborate with coaches to create custom workshops that align with your team’s specific needs. Reach out, and let’s discuss how we can design something special to support your athletes’ growth and success!
How do parents stay involved throughout the process?
Parents play a crucial role in supporting their athlete’s growth, and we’ve made it easy for you to stay involved every step of the way. Each week, you’ll receive an overview of the lesson and the key learning goals for that week, along with practical conversation prompts and questions to keep the learning going at home. These tools will help you engage with your child in meaningful ways, reinforce the lessons, and encourage their personal growth both on and off the field. By staying connected and actively participating, you’ll help your athlete develop the confidence, resilience, and leadership skills they need to thrive.
